Welcome to Our Practice

Families and children come in many shapes and sizes, from many backgrounds and heritages. We welcome children of all families to our practice! Our calling is to help you raise a healthy child, and offer you the best pediatric advice and care.

At Caring Pediatrics, we strive to provide expert, timely, efficient medical care for your children. Although we have all the modern diagnostic aids at our disposal, we believe listening is the primary diagnostic tool. Our office is designed to be family friendly, with an outdoor play area, comforting finishes and colors, and a privacy room for nursing, or just to enjoy a little quiet time.

Our pediatrician and nurse practitioners have appointments from 8:00 am to 4:40 pm Monday through Friday, and two Saturday mornings a month. We set up our schedule to start every day with plenty of open appointment slots, so we can see sick children the day you call in (almost every day!) We answer the phone 24/7/365, so there is always someone available to answer questions about those middle of the night illnesses.

So if you are looking for a pediatrician that takes the time to get to know your family and your child, give us a try! We provide free get acquainted visits for you to meet the staff and doctor, and see our office.

We understand many women may be apprehensive or unsure at first about breastfeeding vs. bottle-feeding their baby. It’s normal to have many questions related to breastfeeding. Our pediatric providers are here to support you.

La Leche League was founded to give information and encouragement, mainly through personal help, to all mothers who want to breastfeed their babies. The mission of La Leche League is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

As a parent, it is your job to protect your child when riding in a vehicle. Using car seats properly helps keep children safe. But with so many different types of car seats on the market, understanding how to use them correctly can be overwhelming for parents.

Visit the AAP’s Car Seat Safety Information page for guidance on choosing the most appropriate car safety seat for your child.

Traveling with children requires special planning and preparation, especially when travelling abroad. There are many things parents should consider when traveling with children of any age.

  • Safe food and water precautions, diarrhea management and insect protection when traveling abroad
  • Modifying the immunization schedule
